Free software from MikeSoft

Wherever you see an icon like thishover your mouse over it to see a comment or some additional information.

In order to download any of the MikeSoft free software you will need to download and install the MikeSoft Installer Download

Firefox enables you to run downloaded programs or open your downloads folder directly - click on the Downloads icon and choose MikeSoft Installer.exe or MikeSoft Installer.exe(1).exe or whatever There will be more thn one if you have downloaded it more than once.

I'm not sure about other web browsers.

On Windows 11 you will see:

Click More Info and you will then see:

Then you should click the Run anyway button.

Next Windows will complain because you are trying to open a program from a publisher who cannot be verified - so, live dangerously and click OK and then follow the instructions on the installer.

Note. If you intend to use the installer more than once it would be worth installing it permanently. To do this from the temporary one:

Open the temporary installer from your web browser or from the Downloads folder in Windows File Explorer
Click the Next button
Scroll to the bottom of the list of apps
Click on the Click here to select this program for installation line under MikeSoft Installer
Follow the instructions. Note. On the Short cuts screen make sure that Add shortcut to 'All apps' MikeSoft menu is checked.

Then, when the installer has finished the installation:

Click on the Winkey
Click on All >
Click on A at the top of the list of apps
Click on M in the array of letters
Click on MikeSoft
Right click on MikeSoft Installer
Click on Pin to Start

You'll then find the MikeSoft Installer in the array of your favourite apps which you see when you press the Winkey.
