hover you mouse pointer over it to get more information.There are seventeen menu options: fourteen of which may be accessed by right clicking on the main window and three by right clicking on the Freezer name box. Most of these options may be accessed by Keyboard shortcuts as well.
The main options are:

| Add food item | This menu option may be used to add a new food item to the freezer book. Also see: Add food item |
| Edit food item | This menu option may be used to edit a food item in the freezer book. Also see: Edit food item |
| Delete food item | This menu option may be used to delete a food item from the freezer book. Also see: Delete food item |
| Undo delete | If you accidentally delete an item this menu option may be used to restore it. Repeated use will restore earlier deletions made in this session. That is, if you delete an item then close down the application then start it up again the deletion history will be lost. Also see: The paragraph in the Delete food item section about undeleting. |
| Duplicate food item | This menu option may be used to duplicate a food item in the freezer book. Also see: Duplicate food item |
| Capitalise descriptions | This menu option may be used to determine whether each word of a food item's description is capitalised or not. Also see: The paragraph in the Add food item section about capitalisation. |
| Find All by Name | This menu option allows you to find specific food items in the freezer book. Also see: Finding food items |
| Find All by Type | This menu option allows you to find specific food types in the freezer book; for example you can search for Ready meals. Also see: Finding food types |
| Print preview | This menu option previews the freezer book inventory print-out. Also see: Printing inventories |
| This menu option prints the freezer book inventory. Also see: Printing inventories | |
| Change your nickname | Clicking this option will give you a My Nickname dialog box. If you have more than one computer which will have access to the freezer book then the locking mechanism will warn the other users when you have the inventory file open. The default nickname is your computer's name which may not be very helpful to the other users. So, if you would like to set another name which is more meaningfull to those users then here's your chance. |
| Change freezer book folder | Clicking this option will give you a Browse For Folder dialog box - navigate to where-ever it is and click the OK button. If you want to create a new location for the freezer book items then navigate to where-ever it is that you want to place it and then click the Make New Folder button and type in a name of your own choice. This will keep the Freezer book happy. |
| View deleted items | This menu option displays a list of all of the items which you have deleted with details of when you deleted it, what drawer it was in and what date you stored it away. |
| View Food types | This menu option changes the display of the food items in the freezer book to show the Food type of each item. |
The freezer book name options are:

| New freezer | Clicking this option will give you a New Freezer dialog box - fill in the details: your name for it, the number of food containers and the configuration: upright or chest. Also see: The Getting started section about all your freezers. |
| Edit freezer | Clicking this option will give you a Edit Freezer dialog box - change whatever details need amending. Also see: The Getting started section about all your freezers. |
| Delete freezer | Clicking this option will give you a Delete Freezer dialog box which will enable you to delete the freezer which is currently named in the Freezer name box. Also see: The Getting started section about all your freezers. |
